Why After-School?

For many young adolescents, afternoons are filled with temptations. The "Critical Hours" between 3-6pm, are those hours between the time school lets out and the time that the adults in the family get home.
This unsupervised time leaves youth at-risk of involvment with all sorts of problems.

Our activities include:
Conflict Resolution
Refusal/Resistance Skills
Gang Prevention Programs
Violence Prevention Programs
Normative Education Programs
Awareness of Peer and Social Influences
Awareness of Advertising Pressures
Structuring Leisure Time to be Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug-Free.
